Speakeasy Kitchen Bar was created as a nod to the speakeasy culture of illegal drinking dens set-up during America’s prohibition era of the 1920s and early 1930s, none-the-less, completely legal. Breaking out of the traditional mould of local Speakeasy’s our restaurant and bar hasn’t been much of a well-kept secret over the years. Embracing the culture of Melbourne’s after work drinks with a lunch menu that transforms into evening dining to suit every atmosphere and customer. Our small shopfront entrance – is a deceptive one. As you move through the space to a fully licensed dining space, courtyard beer garden and front artisanal bar to suit your afternoon Spritz fix, followed by a smooth evening Chardonnay. Our menu champions Mediterranean style cuisine with an innovative twist. Paying special homage to local fresh produce. Also home to the Chapel Street’s fabulous new and only Drag Wine & Dine.
